Landon joined the office in 2014 and has served in various roles, including the Misdemeanor Unit, Felony Unit, Research Unit, and, most recently, the Youth Defender Unit. Throughout his tenure, he has tried numerous misdemeanor cases and complex, serious felonies. He now co-manages the Misdemeanor Unit, where he has the honor of supervising a passionate group of attorneys who zealously advocate for clients charged with misdemeanors.
Prior to joining the office, Landon served as a public defender at the San Bernardino County Public Defender’s Office for four years. His passion for indigent defense took shape in law school, where he interned for the Northern California Innocence Project, Legal Services of Northern California, and the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office. He graduated with a B.A. from San Francisco State University and received his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law.
Born in San Francisco and raised in Sacramento, Landon has deep ties to Northern California. He is an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers and the Sacramento Kings.
